“This city has been a scary place for me for a long time. I don’t want to go into details, because I never know who could be looking at these things. But, all I’ll say is, one event can change a life. For years I’ve been living as a prisoner in my own mind. I used to think it was going outside and being amongst people, which was the problem. However, just recently, I met a man who’s been helping me come to terms with things. He helped me realise that more often than not, it wasn’t my surroundings that was the problem, but how my mind perceives them.  I feel I’ve made a lot of progress in a short period of time, but, the journey is just getting started.”
